My experience was great!

We walked in from a different dealership and was met by Scott. He asked the right questions and cut right to the chase with the right vehicle. I was shocked when he said he had only been in this line of business for a few years. His knowledge was excellent, and he showed us what was important to us (and not what the previous dealership tried to show us)!

Awesome service

My wife and I have relocated back to Hemlock, NY from Indiana and were looking for a Chevrolet dealer with whom to establish a relationship. I had done some cursory comparative analysis of dealers within reasonable driving distance including talking with friends who live in the area- some of whom drive a considerable distance to other dealers. I have an Extended Warranty that I purchased with my Vehicle when we lived in Indiana, and the dealer there - who handled all of my Service work - ensured me that the warranty was conveyable forward. When in Indiana, my dealer handled all the transactional details required of any claims and so the process we transparent to me. From conversation with the Warranty company, now that I am no longer going to the Warranty seller, it is incumbent on me to facilitate the various facets of Warranty communications and transactions. As part of my search for a new Chevy Dealer I was looking for willingness to provide support with Warranty transactions should they be required. I decided to have a simple Service - Oil Change/Tire Rotation/Multi-Point Inspection - performed at Jessica Chevrolet as a trial experience and included scheduling on-line to trial that system-to-dealer functionality. NOW mind you - I had inquired with Senior Leadership at Jessica Chevy regarding the Warranty by phone on several occasions prior - and was skeptical from the experience. Still, I thought - maybe he didn't take good notes - or misplaced them - or he was too busy - or their voicemail system doesn't work? AND - not to discount the value of good Leadership - In my experience what really matters is the quality of the people with whom the customer interfaces directly and those who do the work. My experience with Customer Facing representatives in Jessica's Service Department was excellent from several key perspectives. My experience with Harrison Hicks in the Scheduling and Servicing of my Vehicle - on the phone and in person - from start to finish - was excellent! The shop appeared clean and organized, as did the waiting area and showroom. My experience with Troy Appleby was also excellent. When I introduced the topic of the Warranty I had purchased when in Indiana, he was familiar with the company and OFFERED TO ENGAGE ON MY BEHALF as my intermediary with the Warranty company where I had thought it would have to facilitate. Both gentlemen were Personable, Professional and Competent. I am extremely pleased with my initial Service experience and promise of Warranty support - despite the initial stumble with leadership - and am hopeful for our ongoing relationship.

Went in for detailing, fid a great job.

This dealership is the best dealership that has treated me like I am important no matter what is wrong or the price I paid for my car. They treat everyone special like they care about all their customer's not just certain people that have a luxury car. When you walk in, they know who you are everyone says hi and if there is something wrong you always can talk to someone even if it's not the general manager someone will look into it for you if you're not satisfied. They don't treat you like you don't know what you're talking about when you go to service and just put you off. Like I said this is the best dealership even though I have to drive far to get there it's worth it. Everyone in the service department is very friendly and greet customers very well. My appt was at 8 am. Took me right in and I was out by 8:45. I will continue to use this dealership for my needs.

I had absolutely no issue with the service department. My only complaints are about pricing and overall experience. First, service was very costly for a first 5000 service. Because the car was bought used, I had to pay for the 5000 service (only the first one is included, but only for new cars). Moreover, several filters (AC and engine) were dirty and needed to be replaced. Which was surprising and made me think those were not new when I bought the car. And they were very expensive. I also had to change a back windshield wiper, and even with a discount, paid more than $30. I could have gotten a new one myself for half the price. Lastly, even though it is not a requirement, a quick outside and inside cleaning is always nice. All my previous dealerships did so. Not in this case. That was disappointing. So people were nice and respectful, but service costs and overall quality of service were fair at best.

My visits are always pleasant.

There might be 5 stars if it wasn't for a certain lack of communication following a service and repair on my vehicle. Thanks to the combination of advancement in technology and environmental concerns regarding emission there appears to be MANY probes and monitor sensors, some that require time and driving milage to reset. This was not made clear upon completion of the costly replacement of a faulty vapor sensor. Meanwhile I had made an appointment for my annual N.Y. State inspection, for about a week later, and it failed due to two troubles that had not "reset" yet. I was told I had to drive 40 or 50 miles and it would clear. THEN I bring it back and pay an additional $10,00 for the completion of the inspection which took another hour of waiting. All could have been avoided if the need to travel X number of miles to clear the trouble indications was explained, which by the way did NOT show up as an engine light violation after the repairs were done. There was no way of my knowing about it other than by the service dept.

Buying a car can be an anxiety producing experience. It's a big deal for most people. Sales Rep Zack Smith made the purchase process simple. He listened first, then proceeded with options and allowed us time to decide how to proceed.

Experience was quite pleasant, no issues. Our salesman Zach Smith was excellent in helping us to find the right vehicle at the right price I wanted to pay. Transferring the vehicles was extremely easy and simple. I will be back.

I was not ready for cost of my last visit. I purchased the the extended bumper-to-bumper warranty and thought all future issues would be handled under said warranty. However, I was charged $200 to diagnose a blown fuse that lead to my trailering harness not to work. I was even the one that diagnosed the issue by stating what was wrong. Not to continue to be a gump about my visit, but if you make an appointment for 8 AM, I don't understand why it was still being worked on till 5 PM for an oil change, tire rotation, and inspection.

I found all associates to be very friendly. Sam, my sales associate, and Garth, the finance manager, were both very professional. At no time did I feel rushed to make a decision. The entire buying process was stress free.

I dropped my vehicle off at 5:30AM for a 10:00AM appointment. When I arrived at 2:30PM I still had an hour wait. I wish I was informed that drop offs get done whenever unless I tell them when I will arrive to pick it up. Other than the delay, the service was good.

Went in for an oil and filter change on Monday they didn’t get to it till Tuesday morning but I have other vehicles to drive so I wasn’t worried.

John Stauffer the salesman was excellent from beginning to end.

$230.+ bill for a NYS inspection, and diagnosis. Was quoted $1500. + to remedy the diagnosed trouble, with no diagnosis report available besides verbal at service desk.) Additionally $7.+ surcharge for using a credit card. Never informed there was an additional charge for using a credit card. Did I miss this surcharge in the previous service? Apparently I have $450. in GM points which I was not aware of when paying for the diagnosis. When I asked if I could apply those points to the diagnosis I was told that the credit card charge could not be reversed. ??? Why not?

Positive: dealership has a nice area to wait while car is being serviced. The people in the service department are all very courteous and helpful Negative: I will preface by saying that I know that service is expensive and has high labor costs, but the pricing is a bit ridiculous. Basic service is expensive and less common things are more expensive than what I paid for service at mini and what I pay at BMW. The argument that servicing cars like Chevy, Buick, or other GM vehicles is cheaper than German brands is definitely not true anymore.

I had just loaded my truck and ready to leave when my truck battery failed. I called Troy Appleby and told him my Delima and he told me if I could use my charger to start my truck he would work me in and replace the battery. I arrived at 1:00 Pm and I was out at 2:10 Pm with a new battery ! Thank you for great service.

Due to a recent hospitalization, my son brought my car in for an oil change, state inspection and a small rattle under the car. The big complaint was how long this took - over two hours.
